Nd:YVO4 - Neodymium Doped Yttrium Orthovanadate
Neodymium doped yttrium vanadate (Nd: YVO4) crystal is a laser crystal with excellent performance, suitable for manufacturing laser diode pumped, especially low to medium power lasers. Compared with Nd: YAG, Nd: YVO4 has higher absorption coefficient and larger stimulated emission cross section for pump light. The combination of Nd: YVO4 crystal pumped by laser diode with high nonlinear coefficient crystals such as LBO, BBO, KTP can achieve good frequency doubling conversion efficiency, and can be made into all solid-state lasers that output near-infrared, green, blue to ultraviolet, and other types.
